Ricky T.’s New Soca Track for 2009

      On January 21st SLU Records released a brand new Soca Track on the Fire Riddim produce by Hip Hop/R&B super producer Lil Jon.

       Jonathan Mortimer Smith (born January 27, 1971), better known by his stage name Lil Jon, is an American producer, promoter, and rapper. He is best known as a pioneer of the hip hop sub-genre Crunk. Most persons may know his work from Usher’s Platinum and Grammy award winning single “YEAH”. The Fire Riddim is Lil Jon’s first attempt at Soca Music. The Riddim first single was with Marchel Montano featuring Lil Jon and Pitbull. A number of other Soca and Dancehall artistes are expected to jump on the riddim.

      Lil John has expressed great excitement for the riddim, especially Ricky T.’s track whom he considers to be Soca’s new hot super star. Expect allot more work and collaberations between Lil Jon and SLU Records in the near future.
